Position Profile: MANAGER – BUSINESS AND OFFICE OPERATIONS
This key managerial position is responsible for all office and administrative
functions at Jamison Electric Service Company (JESCo), reporting to the
Managing Partner/CEO of the Company. This function includes managing the
Company’s accounting activities, administering the Company’s
human resources programs, preparation of bids and proposals and development/support
of internal systems and processes. The Office Manager owns the definition,
planning and/or execution of the processes and activities that make up
this function and will be accountable for the performance of these activities.
Key responsibilities include:
• Managing the accounting function, which includes billing customers,
collecting receivables, administering payroll and accounts payable, and
interfacing with the Company’s CPA for preparation of financial
reports, statements and tax returns;
• Preparing job bids, proposals and contracts for approval by the
Managing Partner/CEO;
• Administering human resource functions and programs, including
benefits, regulatory compliance, and performance review and disciplinary
processes; and
• Developing internal systems and processes, maintaining these systems
and training Company personnel on the use of the systems, and maintenance
of company records and business files.
Base Qualifications: The Office Manager must have the following qualifications:
• 4+ years of recent, successful experience in a position with similar
responsibilities to this position;
• Proven results in designing/defining effective financial and administrative
processes, systems and associated controls and measurements (without being
a bureaucrat);
• High level of proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Power Point,
Excel, Publisher, Power Point) and Quick Books;

This key managerial position is responsible for the electrical service
field operations and material inventory management functions at Jamison

Key responsibilities include:
• Staffing, training and managing field technician personnel to

and commercial, on-call service jobs and property management contracts;
• Controlling materials inventories to minimize losses, costs and
outages;
• Insuring that all service vehicles are maintained in accordance

Base Qualifications: This position must have the following qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience with recent, successful experience in
managing field technicians as contemplated for this position;
• At least 2 years experience in direct interaction with customers,
and home warranty companies in particular, in problem solving and satisfaction
related situations;
• Excellent communication (both written and oral), customer interaction
and relationship management skills;
• Knowledge of ServiceWorks scheduling and billing/cost tracking
systems;
• Knowledge of national, federal, state and local electrical and
construction codes; and

• Issue daily invoicing and billing
